Eat Street Markets

The famous Eat Street Northshore is a must-visit if you’re staying with us over the weekend. Open Friday and Saturday from 4-10pm and on Sunday from 4-9pm, the Eat Street Markets features more than 70 traders with 5 themed bars and a delicious assortment of micro restaurants offering just about every cuisine you could want!


Ferry Terminal

600m | 7 minute walk

Jump on the CityCat ferry from Bretts Wharf Ferry Terminal and travel along the Brisbane River to destinations including New Farm, Brisbane City, South Brisbane and West End.


Hercules Street Park

150m | 2 minute walk

Located directly across the street from us, Hercules Street Park is a large parkland offering a huge kids playground with aquativity (waterplay) feature, BBQ facilities, picnic tables and plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. There’s also a basketball half-court and pathways that are perfect for riding scooters.


Doomben & Eagle Farm Racecourse

Fort Lytton Historic Military Precinct

13.3km | 15-18 minute drive

Take a self-guided walk or join a guided tour around Queensland’s foremost military exhibition, with extensive historic fortifications and multiple military museums. It’s an interesting outing for the entire family. Admission and parking is free, though donations are welcome. Open Sundays and Public Holidays (closed Christmas/New Year period and Good Friday) from 10am to 4pm.
