Explore Eat Street Northshore

Cost: Entry fee of $5 per person (12 and over). Family of 4 adults deal $15.

Eat, drink, shop and be entertained at Eat Street Northshore every Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 10m and Sunday from 4pm to 9pm. Over 70 traders include 5 themed bars, eclectic shops, eateries offering foods from around the globe and a great line-up of entertainment on offer to really set the scene.


Immerse Yourself in Art at QAGOMA

Cost: General entry is free. Some exhibitions and special events have an entry fee. 

The Queensland Art Gallery (QAG) and Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) offer ever-changing exhibitions, programs and experiences to enjoy. 

You can even join a GOMA highlights guided tour for free.  


Enjoy the views from Wheel of Brisbane

Cost: $19 Adults, $14.25 Kids, Family of 2 adults and 2 Kids $60.80.

Enjoy 360 degree views of Brisbane from vantage points of up to 60metres above ground level as your rotate around the Wheel of Brisbane in a fully enclosed, air conditioned gondola.


Cruise the Brisbane River on a CityHopper

Cost: FREE

The CityHopper is a free inner-city ferry service that currently runs between three stops; Howard Smith Wharves New Farm, Riverside Ferry Terminal and South Bank 2 Ferry Terminal. 


Catch a movie at Dendy Cinemas

Cost: approximately $9 (student) to $17 (adult), may depend on movie and session.

Located on our doorstep here at Portside Wharf, the Dendy Cinema Portside offers five cinemas, all with surround sound and luxury stadium seating. All theatres are licensed too, so you can grab your favourite beverage from the bar to enjoy with the film.


Stretch your legs with a River Walk 

Cost: FREE

The Lores Bonney Riverwalk meanders 1.2 km between Cameron Rocks and Bretts Wharf, with lovely Brisbane River views along the way.


Visit Fort Lytton 

Cost: FREE (donations welcome)

Take a self-guided walk or join a guided tour around Queensland’s foremost military exhibition, with extensive historic fortifications and multiple military museums. This is a great day out for the whole family.


Check out the stars and views from Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium

Cost: General entry is free. Charges apply for Cosmic Skydome shows.

The views from the planetariums location at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coo-tha out over Brisbane are reason enough to visit!  Visit the Planetarium to enjoy a show (including a tour of Brisbane's night sky), and tour the Display Zone.


Catch a sunset from Kangaroo Point

Cost: Free

Love a sunset? Watch the sun go down over the beautiful Brisbane River from one of the best vantage points on offer, Kangaroo Point.  Top tip:  Pack a picnic to enjoy!
